Cienfuegos
Cienfuegos is located on the southern coast of Cuba. It is approximately 250 km from Havana. The city is nicknamed “The Pearl of the South” because of its well preserved French colonial buildings, proverbial cleanliness and beautiful surroundings. It combines a French charm with a Cuban twist. UNESCO in 2005 listed the centre of Cienfuegos on its world heritage list.
At short distance outside the city, you will find magnificent beaches such as Rancho Luna (18km) and places of strong natural attractiveness like the Martin Infierno Cave with its gigantic stalactite which at more than 67m in height is the tallest in Cuba and one of the largest in the world.
